Ceresit WHITETEQ is a new generation in PU foam technology that uses purified polymers to achieve improved performance. WHITETEQ Foams excel with a unique QUATTRO-4X more dense structure which provides a highly effective insulating barrier and improved durability to withstand stress over time. WHITETEQ is free of harmful plasticizers and distinguished by its characteristic ice-white colour.
STEP 1: PREPARE THE SUBSTRATE
Substrates must be stable, clean and free of substances likely to impair adhesion. The surfaces can be moist, but not frosted or iced. Mask adjacent areas with foil.
STEP 2: CHECK AIR AND CAN TEMPERATURE
The outdoor air temperature can affect the performance of a foam. It is important to check the can for optimal usage temperatures.
- WHITETEQ Straw: -5°C – +35°C
- WHITETEQ All-Season PRO Gun : -10°C – +35°C
For best performance, the can temperature should always stay between +5°C and +25°C. If the can drops below +5°C warm it up inside a warm room or in warm water before use.
STEP 3: SHAKE THE CAN WELL
Shake the can vigorously for several seconds, approximately 20 times, up and down.
FOR STRAW FOAMS: SCREW ON THE ADAPTER AND APPLY
Use attached gloves. Remove the plastic cap from the can and screw the adapter tightly onto the the valve. When working always make sure to keep the can upside down. When using the straw foam, fill the joint to 30-40%, the foam will expand and migrate to fill cracks and holes. Despite significantly higher UV resistance, the cured foam is recommended to be protected from UV radiation.
