USE
CEKOL ZW-04 is a plaster intended for filling cavities and levelling wall, ceiling and floor surfaces. The product is also used as a material for preparing floor underlay. The use of ZW-04 helps to reduce the use of the more expensive materials – for example, filling holes with ZW-04 before tiling will reduce the consumption of tile adhesive. CEKOL ZW-04 is suitable for subfloors with underfloor heating.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The substrate should be clean, tight and free of grease. Using a spatula, remove the remains of emulsion and oil paints, and loose grains of sand. Prime the substrate with deep penetrating primer. CEKOL ZW-04 is great for levelling brick and block walls.
PLASTERING
Prepare the mortar by pouring 1 kg of the powder into 0.16-0.18 litre of water and mix thoroughly. First, pour water into a bucket, then add the powder. The mortar is ready to use straight after mixing, it retains its properties for approx. 2 hours. If it thickens during this time, it should be thoroughly stirred again without adding any water. Remove residues of emulsion paint and oil paint and loose sand grains with a spatula. The substrate should be clean, compact and free of grease. Apply the mortar to the substrate with a trowel or smooth steel float. The maximum single coat thickness is 50 mm. The mortar should be protected from drying too quickly. After the initial setting of the mortar, the surface should be tightly covered with film or lightly moistened with water for a period of 3 to 5 days Tiles can be laid after approximately 48 hours. Floors such as parquet and laminated panels can be installed after the mortar has totally dried (humidity below 2%).
STORAGE
Keep in the original packaging in a dry and dark place, away from sources of heat. Protect from excessive temperature and frost.
