How to use:

Step 1: Preparing the Surface

1. Remove any loose parts and clean the surface thoroughly.
2. Fill large cracks and gaps with a filler and allow it to dry. Apply a primer (e.g. Cerplast) and wait for it to be fully dry – DO NOT DILUTE THE PRIMER

Step 2: Preparing the Product

1. Put the PolDecor wallpaper powder into a bucket.
2. Add the right amount of lukewarm water – 4 liters.
3. Mix by hand until the mass is smooth and has a thick, dough-like consistency, free from lumps. Add a little more water if needed.
4. Let the mixture rest for 5 hours, then mix again before use.
5. Apply the wallpaper using a plastic trowel.

Step 3: Test Application

1. One package covers approximately 3.3 m².
2. Conduct a „meter test” by spreading the wallpaper over a 3.3 m² area to ensure the correct thickness and avoid running out of material. With a ceiling height of 2.4m (8ft), mark off a 1.38m (4 feet 6.33 inches). The square will measure 2.4m x 1.38m = 3.3m2).

Step 4: Application

1. Use a trowel for application, ensuring its edges are smooth.
2. Hold the trowel parallel to the wall, slightly tilted, spreading the material in smooth, even strokes.
3. Apply the material at edges, corners, and around windows and doors.

Step 5: Drying

1. Keep the room well ventilated. We strongly recommend leaving your windows open for best air circulation (if the weather permits).
2. Consider using a fan or dehumidifier to speed up the process.

Important Note: PolDecor wallpapers are made from natural ingredients, so slight colour variations between batches may occur, it is recommended to order enough product from one batch.  The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by failure to follow these instructions.

Maintenance:

• Clean the wallpaper dry using a brush or vacuum cleaner.
• For stains, replace the stained material with fresh wallpaper. Spray water on the area, let it soak for 30 minutes, then scoop up the damp material and replace with fresh.
