The finishing plaster FOX DEKORATOR MAESTRO is manufactured as a ready-to-use mass based on resin binders, light mineral fillers and modifying additives.
Light grey colour:
– allows to control the progress of the works, by visibly changing its colour during drying and sanding,
– facilitates the correction of surface imperfections,
– provides a neutral substrate for various paint colours, including light pastel colours,
– does not strain the eyesight of the plasterer.
Easy to apply and profile – specially selected rheological parameters allow easy application of undiluted product with a plastering float, roller or spray gun. The finishing coat shows a high slip during application, spreads evenly, does not run off the tools and does not splash.
Perfectly smooth, no need to correct the same working area – selected fine-grain mineral fillers make it possible to obtain a perfectly smooth, velvety surface already at the first smoothing.
Lightweight product and stable consistency for minimising the effort on the part of the plasterer:
– reduced weight of mass on tools during application and smoothing,
– does not need to be stirred during work for at least 3 hours.
Durable and flexible – flexible polymer bonds ensure high adhesion to the substrate and crack resistance, even for a 5 mm thick layer of finishing coat.
This enables:
– jointing of plasterboards,
– installing of corner strips,
– filling locally uneven substrate in one layer, if the thickness of the applied finishing coat in the largest cavity does not exceed 5 mm.
Universal – all jointing quality levels Q1 – Q4 (PSG1 – PSG4) can be achieved. The jointing quality levels (PSG1 to PSG4) specified in the Technical Conditions for the Installation and Acceptance of Drywall Systems issued by the Polish Gypsum Association comply with the jointing quality levels developed by the European Gypsum Industry Association EUROGYPSUM and correspond to the surface quality levels, respectively from Q1 to Q4.
Safe “wet on wet” application- this technology shortens the application time and minimizes the risk of blistering.
Dust-free “wet” processing – easy profiling and smoothing of the wetted and bonded surface enables an even and smooth finish to be obtained, without the need for grinding – quick and clean dust-free renovation works.
For manual and mechanical grinding – the balance between flexibility and strength allows the surfaces to be easily processed both manually and mechanically.
Minimum dusting during grinding – dust in the air during grinding and dust residues on the wall reduced to a minimum.
Very efficient – average consumption 0.7 kg/m²/layer (two times lower than in the case of traditional finishing coats)
